These psychological effects can include the depressions, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, the loss of connection to our body and our self, repetitive dreams, intrusive thoughts, trouble with impulse control, to name a few. While some psychological care and consultation is offered online, the transformational work needed by most survivors is best accomplished live and in person.
Trauma therapy is longer-term work. It bares fruit when we experience a genuine desire from within to find our way out from the torture chamber we live with inside. It is out of this very real place we find our way home to peace.
