PSYCHOTHERAPY

For the brave woman who quietly longs for more yet feels caught in a callous web of pain and confusion.

This work offers a practical and effective way of restoring your relationship with the real you—by reclaiming your perceptions, healing emotional pain, and making sense of the experiences that have shaped your life so you can finally move forward.

Does any of this echo your own experience?

You’ve been working hard to live a good life—caring for the people you love, showing up at work, doing your best to be happy. And yet, something inside feels off. You don’t know what to do with the turmoil: the fear, the sadness, the scattered mind, the unwelcome memories. You keep going, but it’s heavy.

You feel trapped in a web of stress, unsure whether it’s coming from within you, your past,

or the world around you.

When you’re tired of holding it all together

You’ve been pushing through, putting on a capable face, doing what needs to be done. But inside, you’re exhausted. You’re tired of going through the motions, tired of coping in ways that leave you feeling worse, tired of pretending everything is fine       . . . when it isn’t.

You rarely pause to nurture yourself or to ask what you truly want and need.

A part of you knows you can’t keep abandoning yourself like this.

A path back to yourself

Healing begins when you give yourself permission to slow down, to feel, to understand, and to reconnect with the parts of you that have been pushed aside. This work helps you:

  • Make sense of your inner world,
  • Release emotional pain that has been weighing you down,
  • Reclaim your clarity, intuition, and sense of self,
  • Build a life that reflects your values, desires, and hopes.

It’s a process of coming home to yourself—gently, steadily, and with support.

About Me

I’m a professional psychotherapist and Yoga teacher with 30 years of clinical experience across healthcare, non-profit and private settings.  I’m regarded by many as a leader in integrating Yoga based practices into psychotherapy.

Designing a Way Forward

Together, we’ll create a path that aligns with your values and goals. In addition to open dialogue, this may include capturing personal insight, releasing old emotional pain, revising outdated thinking patterns, undoing self‑sabotaging behaviours, and learning new skills—all offered with the intention of nurturing your growth and moving your life forward.

Our sessions will be guided by you. My role is to bring my extensive knowledge and seasoned clinical experience to support your challenges and goals, ensuring our work remains grounded in what truly matters to you.

How It Works
    1. Reach out. Contact me and share a little bit about yourself—what you’re struggling with, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy.
    2. I’ll respond personally. Once I receive your message, I’ll get in touch to schedule a time for us to talk more about your needs and how I can help. I’ll also send a brief questionnaire to help you prepare for our call.
    3. Meet for a free consultation. These calls take place over Zoom, last about 30 minutes, and are offered at no cost to you. We’ll discuss what you’re looking for, the frequency of sessions, and my fee.

Scheduling Your Therapy Sessions

Once we decide to work together, you’ll be able to book appointments through my online calendar.

  • Sessions are 60 minutes and held over Zoom.
  • Fees are paid at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
  • During each session, you'll have my full attention and support in a private, confidential setting.

In fact, your privacy is at the heart of every call, every email, and every session we share.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is psychotherapy worth my time and money?

It's an interesting question. We often spend freely on things that bring temporary comfort—lattes, clothes, vacations—yet hesitate when it comes to caring for our inner world.

Consider what it may cost you, in time and energy, if you don't address the struggle you're facing now.

I'm too busy. I don't have time for therapy.

Therapy does require setting aside time for regular sessions and staying attentive to your experience between them. Many women place their own needs at the bottom of their list of priorities.

But again—what will it cost you to not attend to what you're carrying?

I just want to deal with my issues fast.

It's hard to be present to our pain. Wanting relief quickly is understandable. But meaningful, lasting healing is slow and steady. It needs time to take root.

If you're looking for a quick fix, by all means seek it out. But it won't be found here. My work is about the slow route, and enduring healing and growth.

Can therapy help me?

Yes. No. And maybe.

Yes. Therapy with me can help if you're a trauma survivor and feel ready to take the next brave step in your healing journey.

No. Therapy with me can't help right now if you're closed to the idea of healing or if you're in active addiction with alcohol and/or drugs. Once you've been clean and sober for about a year, that's the better time to begin deeper healing.

Maybe. Outside of being in active addiction, it's hard to say definitively whether therapy with me will help you without learning more about you first. That's why getting in touch is the best next step.
